TATTOOING THE WORLD OVER.

Information about the new studio in London

About the Studio:

Triple X Tattoo London, the brainchild of Sean Vasquez and Leticia Molera, has been in the making for a very long time and is part of an epic journey. The love…(and blood, sweat and tears!)…that has  gone into it is testament to the belief they have in their one of a kind endeavour, their partnership and the dedication they have for the art and craft of tattooing. With over 35 years of experience between them they bring to this new evolution of the Triple X Tattoo enterprise, that have included studios in Austria and New York, a desire to bring together art and tattooing in a new format. With talented young apprentices,up and coming artists joining soon, residencies from established artists from studios outside of London and world renowned guest artists , they hope to also be a studio of networking artists providing London’s tattoo collectors, old and new, with plenty of inspiration and expertise.

Inhabiting a truly enormous loft studio in what its owners lovingly call “Little Saigon” or commonly known as South Hackney, Triple X Tattoo London, aims to provide a safe sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city where both client and artist can collaborate to create one of a kind pieces, whether large or small. With sleek but relaxing consultation areas and huge open space tattooing area bathed in natural light from the massive studio windows, Triple X gives visitors and artists alike room to breathe and expand their imaginations. Privacy is a valued commodity in the urban world and Triple X will provide plenty of that too, with discrete screening available on request and its off street location, clients are taken into a calm relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to a great tattoo experience for both the seasoned tattoo collector or the newly initiated.

Surrounded by its retro furniture, objects of art from around the world, curiosities from the owners’ travels and its ‘urban loft meets tropical bungalow getaway’ look, Triple X and its crew are a careful mixture of serious and laid back, welcoming and professional with a dash of humour and wit for good measure. Like a perfect cocktail. Think “Bond villain’s lair in the cliffs of Acapulco” and you won’t be too far off. Inspired by their hispanic heritage and their New York roots, Leticia and Sean have combined latino flair, mayan colours and city chic in a truly unique space.

An extensive research library will allow our artists to help clients dream up,imagine, help guide the design and ultimately receive their perfect tattoo. All tattoos great or small will be approached with respect and care and all styles are welcome:abstract ideas, clients own artwork, high quality “flash” from our wide selection of sketchbooks of world renowned artists etc… though an emphasis, of course, is on custom designed pieces. From traditional japanese and americana through to anthropologically correct tribal markings,pre-columbian and bright “new school” art, we cater to all tastes. In order to give our customers the best possible tattoo we recommend a thorough consultation in order to fulfill not only the clients needs  and  vision but also the artists input and design perspective. Our goal is for the end result to be a piece of unique art that will give you a lifetime of joy and a sense of pride.

Our Habitat:

Triple X is part of a beehive of artistic activity called Netil House which is on the Eastside of London Fields, down the road from the Hackney Empire and around the corner from the ecclectic Broadway Market offering clients nearby cultural activities and green spaces like London Fields and Victoria Park, as well as many places to shop and eat .One does not even have to go that far to eat great cuisine or stretch ones legs as the studio is flanked by a cafe and a pilates studio! With a view of the City skyline and the trees on the Fields our terrace gives respite from the building’s busy interior and a common area to network and chillout. Musicians, artists, photographers, video directors, movie producers, architects, art conservationists, fashion and jewellery designers and even hoola-hoop workshops have studios on the other floors in our building and the atmosphere is buzzing within this beehive of creative activity. With all of this imaginative and cutting edge energy both within our building co-operative and our wider neighbourhood, the Triple X Crew is constantly scheming new artistic endeavours and is also a space for exhibiting art from up and coming as well as established artists from Hackney,London and the world at large. We will be posting exhibitions on our events page so stay tuned through our site.
